After a total of 41 years combined, Tim Hill announced May 13th as his retirement date from the Carthage Street Department. The Mayor has made a Proclamation that May 13th be declared as ‘Tim Hill’s Day’. Tim was born in Carthage, attended Carthage schools and has resided in our community for his entire life. He has served the Carthage Street Department in almost every capacity, including Street Commissioner for over 14 years. Tim has worked effectively with nine different mayors, over a hundred council members and countless citizens of our city. Tim has performed his duties with unflagging enthusiasm and dedication to the city and its citizens. He will be missed by all of us here at the Public Works/Street Department and we wish him all the best! Thanks Tim for everything!
