The Citywide leaf removal program runs from November through December. The City is sectioned off into 4 areas and crews work in a clockwise motion through these areas. Overall, the crews typically make 2 to 3 passes throughout the City in this 2-month time frame. Please rake your leaves to the back of the curb or along the street, but not in the street. Bagged leaves, sticks or other yard waste will not be picked up. In addition, crews do not remove leaves placed in the alleys. If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at (417) 237-7010. Also, leaves may be taken to the Recycling Center at any time of the year at no charge. (Bagged leaves will not be accepted). Take extra care when you see the crews working and allow them plenty of room to work, thank you!
