Expect non-thunderstorm wind gusts of 45 to 60 mph as a strong system moves through the area Tuesday. A few gusts of 60 to 70 mph are possible. Winds will be gusty all day, but the strongest winds will be in the afternoon into early evening. Widespread rainfall is expected starting late tonight and continuing through the day on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts around 0.25 to 0.75 inches are forecast. Flooding is not anticipated due to the lighter rain amounts and quick-moving nature of this system.
