Spacious Auditoriums: Two auditoriums are at your disposal, equipped with kitchen facilities, allowing you the flexibility to choose your caterer. The main auditorium features a stage for captivating entertainment.
Convenient Location: Situated on Route 66 at the corner of Oak and Garrison Avenue, Carthage Memorial Hall is easily accessible.
Community History: Carthage Memorial Hall was built in 1924 as a tribute to World War I Soldiers. Explore displays showcasing the personal belongings of soldiers, including knives, brushes, and uniform pieces. The eastern wall proudly displays the names of Carthage soldiers honored in battle.
Versatile Spaces: The Main Auditorium can seat 400 people at tables, 700 in stadium-style seating, or accommodate around 500 people in a tradeshow format. The adjacent kitchen is well-equipped for your catering needs. The Lower Level is perfect for smaller events, hospitality areas, speakers' lounge, or breakout rooms, accommodating up to 80 people.
Modern Amenities: Enjoy amenities such as a microwave, 10-burner stove, refrigerator, and warmer in the main auditorium kitchen. The lower-level kitchen is equipped with a microwave, full stove, and refrigerator.
Electronic Event Promotion: Stay updated with the electronic sign located at the front of the building, showcasing public events in Carthage and at Memorial Hall.
The City of Carthage requires that activities which serve alcohol, be permitted for dispensing by licensed caterers only. Additionally, the dispensing of alcohol is further subject to Missouri State Liquor Laws. Renters are required to obtain a State Liquor License and must provide a copy of the license to Memorial Hall prior to receiving approval to rent Memorial Hall.
If there is an open bar, there MUST be a guest list or invitation for entry into the event.
