The City of Carthage Public Works Department would like to inform the public that the widening project at Airport Drive and Hazel Avenue is scheduled to begin the week of April 28th, 2025.
This construction is part of an ongoing effort to improve traffic flow and accommodate future growth in the area. During the project, lane reductions and detours may be in place, which could lead to delays in your daily commute.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid congestion near the construction zone.
