The City of Carthage is pleased to announce the hiring of Cory Kerbs as the new Golf Operations Supervisor for the Carthage Municipal Golf Course. Cory brings a strong background in leadership, customer service, and outdoor recreation, along with a passion for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
In his new role, Cory will oversee daily course operations, manage staff, coordinate tournaments, and special events, and enhance overall visitor engagement. His focus will be on maintaining the high standards players expect while continuing to grow participation and community involvement.
Cory shared that he is looking forward to building relationships with local golfers, strengthening partnerships within the community, and supporting ongoing improvements at the course. His hands-on approach and commitment to service make him an excellent addition to the Carthage Parks & Recreation Department.
